Md. Akbar Hossain has withdrawn his candidature for the post of Chairman in Alexander Unitn Parishad by-election of Ramgati Upazila of Laxmipur. He was the candidate of Bangladesh Aomi League nominated Bouth Prati.
On May 25 (Wednesday) at noon, he has filed a physical appearance in the upazila election office and has filed an application for withdrawal of nomination. He said that he is not holding the election due to family problems and illness.
Upazila Aomi League General Secretary Professor Abdul Otaahed said, I do not know anything about this poison. I tried to contact him on his mobile phone and got off.
Upazila Election Officer Kazi Hekmat Ali said that when he asked the reason for submitting the withdrawal letter, he said that he is submitting the nomination withdrawal letter in a healthy brain and consciously looking at the causes of family problems.
It should be noted that the by-election will be held for the post of Cheeterman on June 15. The last day of the post of the 26th Tarikht, the last day of the withdrawal of the 26th May.
