The Constitution Reforms Commission has proposed the introduction of a bicameral legislature to make the country's parliament more effective and dynamic, which will constitute an upper house (Senate) and a lower house (Nation Parliament).
The proposed reforms are set to four years in the two rooms, which can be held for a maximum of two consecutive terms for a maximum of two terms, but he cannot serve as the head of a political party or a leader of the parliament during his tenure as prime minister.
On Wednesday, Professor Ali Riz, head of the Constitution Reform Commission, handed over the recommendation to the Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus.
Professor Riz also recommends that the minimum 10th of the candidate in the parliamentary elections is 21 years, which is currently the term of the Parliament for five years and the minimum 25 years of the candidates is 25 years.
