The Shirtpitch Night Cricket Tournament was held by the youth in Balrampur village of Alamdanga police station in Chudanga. Naeem Sheikh XI has been the game of four teams.
On Wednesday (May 4) at 9 pm, the four-team cricket game started at the Balrampur club ground and the game ended at 12:00 pm. The cricket game of the four teams participated - Naim Sheikh XI, Rabbi XI, Sohag XI, Limon XI.
The said game was attended by the son of Balrampur (Officer-in-Charge) OC Nail Thana.
Chief Guest Halimur Rahman Babu (Officer Incharge) OC said, I enjoyed a very beautiful cricket game. I think one day the players from this village will play cricket at the national level of Bangladesh and he also said that this village will need a beautiful cricket field. If there is unity in this village, I will have a beautiful playground in the village. I have already informed our native of Balrampur village Mr. Aminur Rahman (Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Shipping Ministry) InshaAllah we will have a beautiful playground in our village.
"Each team played very well but it would be natural that we would have a championship and our team members played each match seriously, as a result of which we became champions," said the captain of Naim Sheikh XI.
The chief guest and the special guests handed over the prizes to the champion team at the very last stage of the cricket game and the runner-up team.
