Laxmipur's young Udiman student leader Samir Ishashar Rafsan. He was a former member of Laxmipur District Chhatra League, Rafsan's grandfather Alhaj Sirajul Islam, was a close companion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and former Member of Parliament of Laxmipur 04 Constituency.

He is currently graduating in Political Science from Lakshmipur Government College and studying law from a private university.
His father Md. Abdul Matlab is the vice-president of Lakshmipur District Aoami League, his uncle Rakib Hossain Lotus is the former general secretary of Laxmipur District Chhatra League.
