  প্রদীপ কুমার রায়, বিশেষ প্রতিনিধি: কিশোর গ্যাং ও সামাজিক অপরাধ প্রতিরোধে লক্ষ্মীপুরের রায়পুরে বিশেষ অভিযান চালিয়েছে পুলিশ। রোববার (২৭ সেপ্টেম্বর) সন্ধ্যার পর জেলা পুলিশ সুপারের নির্দেশনায়  উপজেলার বিভিন্ন এলাকায় এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়। অভিযানে অপ্রয়োজনে বাইরে  ঘোরাফেরা, বিভিন্ন স্থানে দলবদ্ধভাবে আড্ডা ও সন্দেহজনক অবস্থায় থাকা ৪৪ জনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। পুলিশ জানায়, কিশোর গ্যাং ও সামাজিক অপরাধ প্রতিরোধে নিয়মিত অভিযানের  অংশ হিসেবে এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়েছে। আটক ব্যক্তিদের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ ও পরিচয় যাচাই-বাছাই শেষে প্রয়োজনীয় আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে। রায়পুর থানা পুলিশ জানায়, কিশোরদের অপরাধপ্রবণতা রোধে এবং সামাজিক অপরাধ নিয়ন্ত্রণে এ ধরনের অভিযান অব্যাহত থাকবে।
