After the controversy arose, two textbooks on the history and social science subjects made for the sixth and seventh grade in the academic year 2023 have been withdrawn from teaching, and the two books will be revised.
The poison was reported in a press release sent by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).
On Friday (February 10), NCTB Chairman Prof. Md. Farhadul Islam said that the ‘Practice Lessons‘ of the History and Social Sciences and sixth Class Science ’Investigation Lessons' for the said classes will be revised for the necessary revisions.
The teaching of all other chapters of the textbooks will continue. Amendments will be taught soon. The institutions will be notified.
Incidentally, NCTB had amended two categories of books earlier due to mistakes in the textbooks.
