Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Fatsal bin Farhan has met Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shatayih, who reported the meeting on Friday on the sidelines of the Germany's Munich Security Conference.
The state news agency has learned that the Palestinian Prime Minister and the Saudi Foreign Minister spoke about the latest situation in the regional and international situation along with various issues during the meeting.
The report said that Prince Fatsal had a meeting with the Secretary General of the Arab League in Brussels and the European Union (EU) Josep Borell, who was in the news and the Saudi Arabian State Minister for the meeting was discussed in the Arab Peace Initiative, the Saudi Foreign Minister.
Incidentally, Saudi Arabia raised the Arab Peace Initiative proposal to resolve the Israel-Palestinian conflict in 2002. Later that year, it was adopted at the Arab League's Beirut conference. The Saudi Press Agency also learned that during a visit to Germany, Prince Satsal also took part in a panel discussion on energy.
