The district youth party has conducted a cleanliness and mosquito-borne campaign to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases including dengue and chikunguni in Narsingdi. The program was conducted at Narsingdi railway station area on Saturday (September 19) as part of the program ‘Pledge, Environment Rakhbo Clean’ program announced by the Central Youth Party.
As part of the operation, the mosquito control activities are being sprinkled at various places in the station premises and platforms.
Narsingdi District Youth Dal President Mohsin Hossain Bidyut, General Secretary Hasanuzzaman Hasan, Senior Joint General Secretary Didar Hossain Bhui, City Youth Dal Convener Mahmudul Hasan Chowdhury Sumon and other district and upazila leaders and activists were present in the program.
In the program, Mohsin Hossain Vidyut, president of the district youth party, said that dengue is currently seen in an epidemic form. He also accused the city of Narsingdi that has been in unsanitary conditions for a long time. He said, he said that the current government is in a position to maintain the current government's development activities.
He also said that the youth group's activities to keep Narsingdi clean and create awareness among the common people to prevent dengue, he said, he said that such programs will continue in the future.
District Jubo Dal General Secretary Hasanuzzaman Hasan said, various places in Narsingdi Municipal area have been in an untidy situation. As part of the central program, the initiative to create public awareness in these poisons through mosquito control and cleaning programs has been taken.
A large number of leaders and activists from various levels of youth parties participated in the program, they identified the breeding ground of mosquitoes in the station area and made common people aware of cleanliness as well as dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.
