Md. Fatz, Kamalnagar (Laxmipur) Representative: Khaled Saifullah, chairman of Char Kadira Union Parishad, has resigned as the chairman of the Union Parishad in Kamalnagar of Lakshmi.
He submitted his resignation letter to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) on Monday (April 8) and was the Chairman of No. 8 Char Qadira Uniton Parishad of the Upazila. He has held the post of Central Advisor of the Islamic Movement.
In his resignation letter, he wrote, "I have been serving my duty with the election of Char Qadira Unityan Parishad in the UP elections held in 2021. Currently, due to my personal problems, it is not possible to serve as Chairman of the Char Qadira. I want to be exempted from this post.
However, the information says that he wants to contest for the post of chairman in the upcoming upazila parishad elections. That is why he has also campaigned for the campaigning of Char Mona, the leader known as Kamalnagar Upazila Pir Saheb.
On behalf of Khaled Saifullah, his son Nurulyah Khaled said that on Thursday, April 4, he handed over all the documents and left for Umrah.
He also said that he has resigned to be elected to the post of Kamalnagar Upazila Chairman of the 1st phase of the upcoming 6th Upazila Parishad elections.
Kamalnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) said that Khaled Saifullah, chairman of Char Qadira Unitn Parishad, has submitted his resignation letter and his resignation has been accepted.
