EB is celebrated with the due dignity of the great Vijt day

The Islamic University (EB) has the due dignity of the great Bijt Day-2023 was celebrated. On the occasion of the day, the university authorities have held various programs including hoisting of the national flag, joyous procession and tributes.

As part of the program, on Saturday (December 16) at 10 am at the administration building premises, the national flag along with the guard of honor was hoisted by the BNCC. Sheikh Abdus Salam and the university flag hoisted by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman was accompanied by the treasurer Professor Dr. Alamgir Hossain Bhuita and Registrar (Acting) H. M. Ali Hasan, meanwhile, was hoisted by the national flag and the university flag, the provosts of their respective halls hoisted.

Later in the morning, the day-long program was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam.After the day, the procession will be held on the occasion of the day. The commemorative sculpture of the Liberation War ‘Mukt Bangla’ was gathered around the various campuses of the campus.

Later, to pay respect to the memory of the martyred freedom fighters, on behalf of the university, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam, later, offered tributes to various societies, faculties, halls, departments, councils and forums, student organizations and various social, cultural and journalist organizations, including Teachers‘ Associations, Officers’ Associations, Bangabandhu Parishad and Shapla Forum.

At the end of the tribute, the martyrs and prayers were held in a minute of silence and prayers were held for the peace of their souls. Aminul Islam.

Later, to pay respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of independent Bangladesh, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of the day in the university playground, a friendly volleyball competition was held between teachers vs officers, fellow employees vs. general employees and student halls. Also, a pillow passing competition was held between women teachers and women officers and women employees and women general employees.

Incidentally, on the occasion of the Great Victory Day, special prayers and prayers were held in the central mosque of the university, mosques and all halls of the residential areas.
