The Saptami of Sharadita Durga Puja is being celebrated in the midst of festive atmosphere and religious solemnity in Tajumaddin Upazila of Bhola.
This year, Tajumaddin Upazila is being held in 15 puja mandaps. Since morning, the puja premises have been filled with music, conch sound and Chandipath in each mandap. On the occasion of Saptami, we bathe Goddess Durga and set up Navapatrika and Saptamivihit Puja.
The special poison is that this time of Saptami is two days long, the joy of the devotees of Sanatan Dharmavalambi is flowing in the hearts of the devotees. The elder and the new, everyone will join the festival together.
On the surface, all the mandaps in the upazila have been visited by devotees since morning. Men, women, children and old people are visiting idols in new clothes.
According to the Puja Celebration Front, out of 15 mandaps in the upazila, 10 pujas are being held in Chandpur Unit, 5 pujas in Shambhupur.
The administration has taken strict security measures to make the puja smooth, while each mandap has police and Ansar members Motaen.
Aurobindo de Titu, president of Tajumaddin Upazila Puja Celebration Front, said, "This year we are celebrating the puja peacefully in 15 mandaps. The administration and local political party leaders are with us.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Saptami, prasad was distributed in various mandapams and the evening aarti was organized. This five-day festival will end in the mid-day of Bijata Dasami.
