Fasting is an important act of worship in Islam, which is obligatory on every Muslim who is a Muslim, as Allah Ta'ala has made fasting of Ramadan obligatory on people, so has it fixed the same fast.
In the Holy Qur'an, Allah Ta'ala says, ‘And eat and drink until the white line of Fajr is clear from the black line. After that, complete the fast till the night.’ (Surah Baqarah: Ata 187) That is, the same in between is the same as fasting.
Based on this information, researchers-learners have given their opinion in favor of stopping Sehri about the Fajr for warning about the 1st minute before Fajr. (Raddul Mukhtar: Volume 2, p. 371, Fatotae Alamgiri: Vol. 1, p. 194).
Many have considered it makruh to be Sadiq and eat and drink in the same way that it is the same in the morning and the remaining balance of Sehri.
However, through this meal, the fast will be sahih.
In the hadith about Sehri Sam't, a person said to Ibn Abbas (RA), ‘I continue to eat Sehri. Then when I have doubts (Fajr, I will stop.’
He said, ‘Keep eating as long as you have doubts, stop eating when doubts are removed. (Ibn Abi Shaybah, Musannaf: 9057, 9067).
Imam Ahmad (RA) said, ‘The fasting person can eat and drink until he is sure that even if he is doubtful about the Udd of Fajr.’ (Fiqhus Sunnah: 1/404).
