Rabindranath's broken sculpture has been again installed next to the Raju sculpture of Dhaka University (DU).

The sculpture was installed on Friday afternoon with banners saying ‘Repeal the Digital Security Act and stop all kinds of censorship’ and ‘Toma Puja Chhale Toma Bholi Thay’.

On Tuesday, some students of the DU Fine Arts Faculty set up a protest against the importance of freedom of speech and expression and protested against all kinds of censorship. Later, last Thursday, the university administration took the sculpture and the university administration.

Shimul Kumbhakar, president of the Dhaka University of the Dhaka University in the student union and the student union, said that since it was dissolved, it proves that our university administration does not support the poison of freedom of speech and free thought. This sculpture is the name of the brokerage of the government. That is why we have re-established Rabindranath as a protest.

DU Proctor Professor Dr. AKM Golam Rabbani said, ‘It was illegal to make this sculpture illegal. We request the students to remove it."

If they do not do anything that will disrupt the normal activities of education. If you want to do something in the future, we will assume that they are doing this for some other purpose.’
