The holy Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated today Saturday (July 9) in more than 100 villages of the country including South Chittagong.
The followers of Satkanita Mirzakhil Darbar Sharif of Chittagong have been celebrating Eid in harmony with Saudi Arabia for many years outside the traditional country of the country.
The followers of Mirzakhil Darbar Sharif claim that Friday (July 8) is the holy Yaumul Hajj or Yawmul Arafah.
Accordingly, the holy Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated on Saturday in hundreds of villages in Chittagong and neighboring districts.
They said that the followers of Mirzakhil Darbar Sharif of Satkanita upazila have been celebrating Eid-ul-Azha since two hundred years ago.
