Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated on Saturday (09 July) in 11 villages in Ramganj in Lakshmipur in association with Saudi Arabia.
Thousands of worshipers of 11 villages including Nogangao, Jhapura, Bigha, Baro Gharita, Hotatita, Sharshoi, Kanchanpur of Ramganj upazila of the district are celebrating Eid-ul-Azha today.
Eid prayer congregation was held at Madani Kasemita Eidgah at Khankata in Ramganj upazila at 7 am.
Maulana Ruhul Amin was led by Maulana Ishaq (R.A.) As followers, the people of these areas have been celebrating all religious festivals including Eid in accordance with the holy land of Mecca and Medina, and the worshipers of these villages have been celebrating Eid-ul-Azha for the past 44 years.
