The district BNP held a protest rally against the threat of killing BNP chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia in the Padma river.
The protest program was held in front of the small market party office in the city on the initiative of Netrakona district BNP on Thursday, May 26 at 10:30 am.
District BNP convener Dr. Under the chairmanship of Anwarul Haque, member secretary Rafiqul Islam Helali spoke as the chief guest at the protest rally, Central BNP Divisional Organizing Secretary Imran Saleh Prince.
At the time, the speakers protested against the threat of killing former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia by throwing her into the Padma river water by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the leaders and workers demanded an end to the attack cases on various programs of the BNP across the country.
