A young man named Ershad (35) was killed in front of his house in Hatia village of Sukhari union of Netrakona Atpara upazila due to previous enmity.
According to police and local sources, the case of Sabuj Mitar land in the same village has been going on for a long time with Bachchu Mia, which has been a dispute between the two parties over a land dispute, which has also been filed in the police station.
On May 26, Thursday night, Ershad Mia was sitting in the open air in his house, a few people including Sabuj, who was pre-planned, gave a sharp ramada. Ershad was seriously injured in Kupi. Later, the relatives rescued Ershad in a serious condition and went to Madan Upazila Health Complex and went to the health complex where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
The deceased's father Bachchu Mia (60) said, Sabuj used to always say that he would kill my son Ershad, finally Sabuj killed my son, I will be punished by Sabuj and his people, who was in tears saying that he wanted exemplary punishment and hanging.
In this regard, Zafar Iqbal, officer-in-charge of Atpaza police station, said that one person has been arrested in this incident, the body has been sent to Netrakona Modern Hospital for investigation.
