He said this to reporters after the meeting of the National Narcotics Control Advisory Committee at the Secretariat on Tuesday (December 28).
The minister said, ‘Dope test is mandatory for any government job. The Prime Minister has informed us in the direction that we have given it to everyone to take that action. So from now on, dope test is mandatory. I also want the new generation to go astray, not to go the wrong way, not to go in the wrong direction.’
The Home Minister said, ‘Among those who are working in the security forces and working against drugs, those who are drug addicts or who are involved with drugs are being dismissed, those who have been identified in the dope test are being dismissed. Dope tests are already being made mandatory in all the companies under the Ministry of Home Affairs.’
