After a 16-hour long suffocating operation, the Italian Coast Guard has rescued 244 migrants floating from Italy's waters.
They were rescued from the western coast of Calabrita on Sunday (November 28). 41 of those rescued were children.
The group was sweeping the sea with the risk of small fishing boats, and everyone was caught in the sea, and they were identified as a rescue operation.
