Badiul Alam Majumdar, head of the Election System Reform Commission, has said that the six reform commission will submit their proposals soon.
He said this in a seminar at Sirdap Auditorium in the capital on Tuesday (December 24).
Badiul Alam Majumdar said that the reforms are being done to ensure that reforms do not become abused like in 2007-08.
He said, after receiving the proposal for reform, the ball will go to the court of others, then the main work is the government, the election commission and the political party.
Public administration should have been the administration of the people but unfortunately it did not happen, the head of the Election System Reform Commission said that the public administration is still going on in the British government, for example, if a senior official goes, he will organize a ritual for him. But the public administration should work in the interest of the people but it has not been implemented in 53 years.
He added that the Awami League government came to power in 2008 with the change of day to change the charter, but it was night instead of day. Corruption, extortion, tendering, family system were their main goals. For them, reforms have become blasphemy.
