Akash Mandal Irfan killed everyone including Master Golam Kibrita, Master of the ship ‘MV Al Bakhera’ due to not getting salary allowance for a long time and misbehaving.
After the arrest of Irfan, this information was revealed in the initial interrogation, said Lieutenant Colonel Munim Ferdous, Director of Law and Media Branch of RAB.
In the initial interrogation, RAB claimed that the ship's master Golam Kibrita did not pay any kind of salary and even misbehaving for 8 months, and Akash Mandal Irfan killed everyone out of anger.
According to Irfan's Deota, RAB also claimed that Irfan had entered a market in Pabna to buy the ship, from where he bought 3 pages of sleeping pills, and the Chinese cult that killed everyone in Kupi was already on the ship. The hull was kept for the safety of the ship.
RAB also knows that Irfan first eats sleep medicine in the food, then puts gloves in his hands and kills everyone in the Chinese cult. After that everyone is sure to drive the ship and run the Haim Char area and take another trawler.
According to RAB, Irfan also killed the others who saw the killing of Master Golam Kibrita.
The persons who were killed are - Master Golam Kibrita, Grizzer Sajibul Islam, Lashkar Majedul Islam, Sheikh Sabuj, Aminur Munshi, engine driver Salahuddin and cook Rana Kazi. The injured person is Sukani Jutall.
