43 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police have been promoted as Additional Deputy Inspector General.
On Tuesday (May 31), the promotion will be given in a notification signed by Dhananjath Kumar Das, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs by the order of the President.
The officials mentioned in the notification have been asked to send a joining letter to the senior secretary of the Public Security Department or by e-mail and it will be effective from the date of joining in public interest.
