Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has commented that Bangladesh has deviated from the spirit of independence and the ideals of freedom in the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family on August 15, 1975.
He made this comment while participating in the Pilkhana of the capital BGB Day today (December 20).
In the event, Sheikh Hasina expressed regret about the Pilkhana murder incident in 2009 and urged the BGB members to follow the chain of command.
The Prime Minister also said that border security, crime suppression and security of people's lives and property have become easier than before.
The head of government said at the event that Bangabandhu's country Not a single man will be homeless, we have provided accommodation for those who are homeless, and the food has been fully acquired.
Knowing that there is an economic recession going on all over the world due to the coronavirus and Ukraine war, Sheikh Hasina said, "Recession should be in our country." Everyone should be careful not to come in. We have to keep our heads high in the court of the world by producing food so that even an inch of land is not empty anywhere in the country.
Earlier, around 10 am, the Prime Minister attended the Bir Uttam Anonor Hossain parade ground at BGB headquarters, and then he visited the entire parade ground and received the greetings of BGB officials and BGB officials and present guests including the BGB DG.
