Dhaka has sent the documents to Delhi to bring back the ousted Prime Minister and Aoti League President Sheikh Hasina.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Rafiqul Alam confirmed this information at the weekly briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday (February 13) afternoon.
In the briefing, he said, "Dhaka, the Dhaka government has sent the document to return Sheikh Hasina to the country. Bangladesh is waiting for the country's answer. All the documents have been sent along with the diplomatic letter."
Rafiqul Alam said that Bangladesh will wait politically and diplomatically on the issue of Sheikh Hasina, whether it will be followed by the international policy to bring back the other leaders staying in India, it is a matter of high level discussion of the government.
