After hearing the remand application on Wednesday, Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court Judge Sadbir Ishashir Ahsan Chowdhury granted the remand.

Among the accused, SI Amal Krishna Dey of Shahbag police station applied for 10 days to Shafiul Bari Babu, 11 days remand to 11 accused.
Judge Shafiul Bari Babur granted remand for 7 days and 3 days each for 11 other accused.
