The officials of the Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection have fined three companies of Shahjadpur Upazila in Sirajganj 50,000 taka for the crime of 48 kg of 40 kg bags of cow-fodder and 24 kg of 25 kg bags.
On Friday (April 15) morning, the operation was conducted in Baghabai area of Shahjadpur in the district under the leadership of Assistant Director of Consumer Rights Protection Directorate, Sirajganj, Mahmud Hasan Roni.
The fined institutions are New Yamuna Cattle Feed in Baghabai area, uncle-nephew catale feed and Baghabai Cattle Feed.
Mahmud Hasan Roni, assistant director of the Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection, said that there is a complaint against these institutions that there is a complaint against these institutions that they are selling at the desired price, making low-quality cow-fodder and underweight.
The complaint was proved to be fined and warned by fines. Mahabub Rahman Chao law enforcement officers were present.
