The elections were supposed to be held on April 11.
But the Chief Election Commissioner had postponed the vote on March 1 due to the duality of the two.
On Wednesday (02 June) the commission meeting decided to re-poll the re-polling.
EC Secretary Md. Humaun Kabir Khondkar said after the meeting that the polling for the election will be held on June 21 in 371 UP, 11 municipalities and Lakshmipur-2 constituencies of the postponed first phase.
In this case, the process will resume from the time the election process has been suspended, meaning the candidates can start campaigning again from now on.

The 11th Parliament elected the 11th Parliament, the elected independent member of the 11th Parliament, declared the Laxmipur-2 seat vacant in a court in Kutte. The seat of the 28th January was sentenced to vacant.
‘The reason for the ’dvaiva grievak' reason was that the constitution decided to hold elections on the 9th day of April 27. The Chief Election Commissioner will end the polling session on July 26.
