Laxmipur became independent on this day

Today, December 4, Lakshmipur is the invader freedom day. In the Great Liberation War in 1971, the brave freedom fighters launched an all-out attack on this day and forced the Pakistani invaders to surrender in the district. In the meantime, Lakshmipur district was completely freed from the killing, looting and torture of the Pakistani forces and Razakar-al Badr.
To free Lakshmipur from the Pak invaders, the freedom fighters conducted 17 frontal battles with the Pak invaders in different places of the district.
This district under the jurisdiction of Sector 2 of the Liberation War has been carrying out inhumane violence in different places of the Pak invaders for 9 months.
Laxmipur Sadar Upazila Freedom Fighter Commander Mahbubul Alam said that since December 1, 1971, freedom fighters led by the freedom fighters Rafiqul Hadar Chowdhury and Subedar Abdul Matin launched an attack on various camps of the invading forces. Finally, on December 4, the invading forces and its allies were forced to surrender.
