Tarek Mahmud, Laxmipur Representative: The workers of Rakhtpur Bengal Sue Industries Limited of Laxmipur protested by blocking demanding salary and bonus.
The workers blocked the Rakhali-Dhaka regional Mahasaj in the Rakhali-Dhaka area from 8 am to the 8 am on Saturday.

The protesting workers said that the owners of the factory were supposed to pay 3 months salary, 2 months overtime and Eid bonus to the workers on Saturday morning. According to the agreement, the owners did not provide any facilities to the workers, they complained that after receiving this news, the upazila executive officer Imran Khan and the OC of Rachapur police station, Isachin Majumdar came to the spot and assured to solve the problem.
