A fisherman named Amir Hossain clashed with fishermen and naval police in violation of the ban on the Meghna river in Laxmipur. 5 people were injured, including 4 policemen who were killed in the shooting.
The deceased Amir Hossain is the son of Matlab Ra, a resident of Qutubpura village of Bhola Sadar.
The clash took place in the Meghna River in the Hat area of Maju Chowdhury of the upazila on Sunday morning, which was treated at Laxmipur Sadar Hospital where the police arrested 10 fishermen.
The naval police and locals know that the government ban on fishing for two months in the conservation of Jatka, the boat was launched on Saturday (April 9) night when the police reached the spot. When the police reached the spot, the boat of fishermen surrounded them and attacked the police. He was injured in the shooting and injured in the incident, including 5 people including the driver of the speed board of policemen Zahirul Islam, Mohsin, Anonor, Mubarak and Police, who were later admitted to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital. If the condition worsened, the shot was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and he died in the morning under treatment.
SP Kamruzzaman of Chandpur region of the naval police confirmed the truth, the police fired in self-defence. A fisherman was shot in the river and he was rescued in the hospital.
