Laxmipur Sadar Upazila Battali area of drum truck. A rider named Azim Hossain (17) died in the incident, a rider named Riz Hossain, who was injured in the incident.
The doctor said that his condition is critical, the accident took place on Saturday (January 21) night in Laxmipur-Notakhali Mahasaj.
The deceased Azim is the son of Babul Hossain of Bepari Baul Hossain of Athitatali village of Laharkandi Unit of Laharkandi Unit of the upazila, and the injured Rizta was his friend.
It is reported that Azim was going towards Chandraganj on his motorcycle with his friend on a motorcycle. On the way, when he reached Battali area, a drum truck going to the market of Majuchaudhury coming from the opposite side hit his motorcycle on the spot. Locals rescued his body and injured Ritaz and sent him to the district headquarters hospital.
Chandraganj Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mofizul Islam Bhuita told Banglanews that one person was killed and one injured. The killer truck has been taken away.
