Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from a secluded wood garden in Shivpur, Narsingdi.
On Friday (January 20) around 8 o'clock in the night, the police recovered the body of an unidentified woman in a bloody condition from Harun Mia's barren wood garden in Baghab Union of Baghab Union of the upazila.
Police and locals said that on Friday afternoon, the owner of the garden, Harun Mia, saw the body in the garden to cut the leaves of the tree and told the local UP member Monir Khan.
Later, Monir Khan informed the police of the incident. On receiving the information, Shivpur Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Afzal Hossain went to the spot with the force and prepared the condition of the body. Later Shibpur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Feroz Talukder went to the spot. The District Intelligence Police and Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) were informed through information technology to identify the deceased and have the fingers of the deceased woman's two fingers cut and injured.
Shibpur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Feroz Talukder said that it is believed that someone killed him and left the body there sometime on Thursday night. Attempts are being made to get his name. The woman was wearing a white pajama, red colored kameez and black burqa, next to the legal action.
