Chhatra League leaders and activists held a black flag march in protest against the August 21 grenade attack in Lakshmipur.
This black flag procession was taken out at Lakshmipur Government College campus on Sunday (21 August) afternoon.
District Chhatra League President Saiful Islam Rocky and General Secretary Shahadat Hossain Bhui, led by District Chhatra League Joint Convener Md. Nazrul Bappi, Mahtir Mahbub, Organizing Secretary Robin Bhui, College Branch Chhatra League General Secretary Md. Faruq Hosan, were present.
The Samat District Chhatra League President Saiful Islam Rocky said that the 21st August grenade attack on 21st August 2004 attempted to kill Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina. They wanted to kill Sheikh Hasina like Bangabandhu and create a blue design. Many were killed and many people were paralyzed, but no one can harm whomever Allah wills, keep him alive for that long.
