3 people have been infected with coronavirus in Lakshmipur. The total number of coronavirus patients in this district is 22. After 45 samples of Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) located in Faujdarhat, Chittagong, 3 people were diagnosed with corona positive at around 10 am on Saturday (18 April).
Among the 3 newly infected, 02 are from Sadar Upazila and 1 is Ramganj Upazila, among those affected by the coronavirus, 15 in Ramganj, 03 in Kamalnagar, 01 in Ramgati and 03 in Sadar Upazila and 22 people.
It is known that 3 coronavirus cases were identified in Ramganj after 45 samples of Laxmipur district were tested at BITID around 10 pm on Saturday (April 18). Among them, 01 and 2 in Sadar Upazila were infected with coronavirus.
Laxmipur district civil surgeon Abdul Ghaffar said, after 45 samples, 3 people have been tested positive for coronavirus.
