Elections of Janata Bazar Unnat Committee of Alexander Union of Ramgatti in Lakshmipur have been held.
Nazmul Huda Suman became the general secretary in the election.
He got 259 votes for Tubtule Pratikar, his nearest rival Cheta Pratik candidate Md. Miner Uddin got 244 votes.
The total number of voters in the election held on Saturday was 533.
Election presiding officer and upazila co-op officer Omar Farooq said that a total of 533 voters applied their right to vote. In the results obtained, we have declared Nazmul Huda Suman as general secretary.
The general secretary of Unitami League and renowned businessman of Janata Bazar, Nazmul Huda Suman, the proprietor of M/s Tara Traders, is the son of freedom fighter late Nazim Uddin Nagar.
