Ramgati attack on RAB case

Laxmipur: A case has been filed against Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members of Chargazi Uniton, Ramgatti, Lakshmipur.
On Friday (January 5) around 7 pm, DAD Monir Hossain Chowdhury of Laxmipur Camp of RAB-11 filed the case in Ramgati Thana.
The case has been named as the main accused in the case, Sheikh Farid (Farid Commander), member of No. 5 O andard, member of Chargazi Uniton, has been named as the main accused. The case has been accused of 500 others.
On Thursday (January 4) in the evening, four RAB members were attacked in Tegachita area of Chargazi Union of Ramgati Upazila. Two motorcycles of the same RAB were vandalized at the scene.
The injured are - RAB-11 Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mofizul Islam, Constable Sakhawat, Sainik Shahin and Ishaq.
After the incident, local Chargazi Uniuniton Parishad (UP) Chetner Touhidul Islam Suman knew that four people in Sadaposha gave him a rogue in the house of UP member Farid Farid, who was arrested by the people around him and arrested them and beat them up and vandalized two of their used motorcycles.
Naresh Chakma, a commander of RAB-11, said that a team of RAB's Gotanda department in Hatita-Ramgati border area was attacked by the tsargachita area of Ramgati's Chargazi unit in white clothes on Thursday evening.
Ramgati Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Iqbal Hossain said that the incident has been filed by RAB and an operation is underway to arrest the accused.
