Following the assurance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the non-MPO teachers and employees have decided to withdraw it after a six-day hunger strike.
On Friday (January 05) afternoon, they announced the breakdown of the hunger strike in front of the National Press Club.
Earlier, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner (DMP) Md. Asaduzzaman Mita, Prime Minister's Private Secretary Jati press club Gita told about the Prime Minister's assurance.
After that, the death hunger strike will be announced, said non-MPO education Golam Mahmudunnabi, President of the Institution Teachers Employees Federation.
