A school student named Fahad Hossain (17) was killed in a drug shop in Ramganj, Lakshmipur, and two others were seriously injured including Md. Khorshed Alam and Md. Amir Hossain.
The deceased Fahad Hossain is said to be an SSC candidate of Nichhra Samajkalyan High School of Upazila.

Ramganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Farshid Bin Enam said, "We have stopped the construction of illegal shops on Birend canal and stopped it after they were working secretly and ordered to file a case against them in the incident of the casualties."
