Abu Taher, Ramganj Representative:
Ramganj Thana police arrested a teenager named Abdullah-Al Rafi (14) in Ramganj of Laxmipur in Ramganj. The incident took place in Debnagar village of Bholakot Unit of Upazila on November 27. The rape victim is currently 4 months pregnant. The accused is the son of Amir Uddin Bepari Bapari of Debnagar village of the accused.
Sakina Begum, the plaintiff, said that my mother was a 6th grade student of Daulatpur Kari Ibrahim Mahila Madrasa. On her way to the madrasa, Rafi used to forcefully interact with me in the abandoned area of the garden.
Officer-in-charge of Ramganj police station Mohammad Abdul Bari said that the victim's mother Sakina Begum filed a case under the Ramganj Thana torture law and the accused has been arrested and sent to the Laxmipur court.
