A gang led by Alamin and Arafat has been attacked by Muktar Hossain Akash and mother-in-law Mobashwa Begum, son of Sahida Akhtar Ruma, 7th Darbeshpur Unit Mahila League of Ramganj Upazila of Laxmipur.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon in the afternoon of Darbeshpur Upi I.T.E. in front of the Golini shop in Hajil, local people rescued the injured and admitted them to Ramganj Government Hospital.
According to the sources, the Mahila League leader of the upazila, Ruma, from her home for family work, was on Thursday morning from her home in the family work. On the way back from Shoshalita at 12 noon, the son of Alamin and Sarafat Ruma came to the front of the shop.
In this regard, Sahida Akhter Ruma said, after the last UP elections, my rival candidate Sohag's worker Alamin and Sarafat continued to threaten my son Akash in various ways. That's why when they wanted to talk to them in front of the sacrifice shop, they attacked my son and mother-in-law and injured them in the PT.
Despite trying to contact Alamin and Sarafat repeatedly in this regard, they did not get their statement.
Ramganj police station officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Emdadul Haque said that legal action will be taken based on the complaint.
