Ramganj Thana Police is arresting the accused in the Ramganj rape case in Lakshmipur, the incident took place on Tuesday in No. 4 of Ichapur Union of Upazila No. 4 in Natanpur Union of Upazila.
According to local sources, Ibrahim, the disabled man of Nathonpur village of Ichapur Unin of Ramganj upazila, was forcibly raped by Ibrahim, the son of Tafadar Bair Md. Sirajul Islam of the same village, in the abandoned garden.

Accused Ibrahim's father Sirajul Islam said, "We have filed a case of rape in the name of son Ibrahim. The court will prove whether my son is an accused or not."
Local member Billal Hossain said, Sirajul Islam, the father of the accused Ibrahim, asked me to come to the police station to know the poison. I came to the police station and saw that there was a rape case against Ibrahim.
Officer-in-charge of Ramganj police station Md. Imdadul Haque said that the victim girl Moritham Akhtar and her mother Beauty Begum Thana have filed a rape case and the rapist Ibrahim has been arrested and sent to the court.
