The fire broke out in Ramganj, Ramganj, Laxmipur, and the goods of five businesses were burnt in the fire at 9 am on Monday morning at the market adjacent to the main road in the Panpaza Bazar of the upazila at 9 am.
Local people and affected businessmen said that the fire started from a shop around the moment. The fire is burning.
3 lakhs including cash from Nasir's confectionery, Nur Hossain's chicken shop Noor Enterprises 5 lakhs, Munshi Hardwother. 10 lakh taka and 2 lakh taka of new chatz furniture worth 2 lakhs have been destroyed.
Local Union Parishad Chairman Ftez Ullah Jisan said, after receiving the news of the fire, we immediately tried our best to bring the fire to the spot with the cooperation of other businessmen and local residents.
Harun Or Rashid, president of Panpaza Bazar Management Committee, said that if there was no local service and local people's cooperation in the fire, the whole market would have been destroyed.
Kamrul Hasan, the house inspector of Ramganj Fatar station, said that the fire started from the connection of the motor of Nur Hossain's chicken shop, and there was a petrol in a nearby shop and the fire was more damaged.
