1 dredger machine has been evicted in Ramganj of Laxmipur. On Tuesday (September 26) at noon, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Monira Khatun of Lamchar Unit No. 6, Majupur village of Lamchar Union of Upazila, removed this dredger from Dakshin Majupur field.
UP member Yusuf Hossain and local farmers Imran Hossain, Mostafa Kamal, Nashir Ahmed, Farooq Hossain and numerous farmers were evicted on the orders of Assistant Commissioner (Land) Monira Khatun.
Recently, the local victimized farmers filed a written complaint with the District Commissioner, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Agriculture Officer demanding the ban on the dredger. Later on Tuesday (September 26) at noon, the Dredger raided the area and seized the machine by destroying the dredger.
In this operation, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Monira Khatun ordered the destruction of dredger pipes in the raids of other areas of the Unit.
