Rajshahi Representative: An 8-year-old child has been accused of attempted rape in Rajshahi's Durgapur, and the victim's uncle has filed a written complaint at the Durgapur police station, and the accused Fazlur Rahman has been absconding since the incident.
The incident took place on Sunday evening in Gopalpur village of the upazila. Accused Fazlur Rahman (50) of the deceased Gitarat Ali of the village, and Fazlur Rahman became the grandfather of the victim child.
The victim child's family was reportedly, UP member Shahidul Islam said, "The victim child went missing after Sunday evening. At around 9 pm, people heard the screams of the victim child inside the Panbarj adjacent to the Gopalpur Eidgah ground. When people went to the ground, the accused Fazlur Rahman Pali went to the scene and the victim went to the scene. The child was rescued and given first aid.
Durgapur Police Inspector (Investigation) Nayan Hossain said that the incident of the incident was filed by the victim's uncle Ashraf Ali, who has filed a written complaint on Monday evening.
