The police have arrested the accused mother Purnima Vaidya (25) in the incident of two children who died in the fire in Madaripur. She was arrested on Tuesday (December 6) afternoon from Kakrail area of the capital Dhaka.
Purnima is the wife of Manik Vaidya, a resident of Srinadi area of Shirkhai Uninet of Sadar Upazila.
According to police and local sources, Manik Vaidya, a resident of Shirkhaja Unit, Shirkhaja Unit of Sadar Upazila, who owned a one-story tinshet house in Jhikarhati area of Jhikarhati area of Sadar Upazila, was a resident of the owner of a one-story tinshet house in Sadar Upazila. Manik used to live with his wife Purnima Rani Vaidya and two children.
