On behalf of the US administration, Foreign Minister Antony J. Blinken in a statement issued on Friday, March 25, greeted the citizens of Bangladesh on the 51st Independence Anniversary of Bangladesh.
Blincken said, "Our two countries will emerge after the fierce struggle for freedom and we both try to live with our democratic ideals during our independence."
Our continued cooperation over the past five decades is ensuring a safer and richer future for generations to come and go.
Blincken also said that the United States is committed to expanding relations with Bangladesh.
