On the occasion of the celebration of the Great Independence Day, there was an incident of the boycott of the brave freedom fighters in Rajibpur of Kurigram.
Due to such mismanagement of the upazila executive officer, the leaders and activists of all parties including Bangladesh Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League boycotted the event.
It was seen on the ground that the ground was empty in the event at 10 am, and even the administration has not been able to use any security system at the Shaheed Minar and the wreath disappeared at the Shaheed Minar by 10:30.

Leaders and activists of all parties including brave freedom fighters and the general public blamed the indifference of the administration for such chaos.
In this regard, the brave freedom fighter of Rajibpur upazila, Anwar Hossain Mandal, said, "It is for us that today's event is not arranged for us to sit, so we all boycotted the event together."
In this regard, Rajibpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Amit Chakraborty admitted the mismanagement and requested the boycott freedom fighters to return to the event.
