A dow and Ichale Sawale Sawale was held in memory of the late Allama Hazrat Maulana Jayed Hossain Al-Faruqi (R.A.), former principal of Hajirhat Hamidi Kamil Madrasa in Kamalnagar, Laxmipur and former Khatib of Char Lorench Bazar Batul Aman Jame Masjid.
Last October 18 (Sunday) at Batul Aman Jame Masjid in Char Lorench Bazar in Kamalnagar, Bangladesh National Imam Association, Lakshmipur district branch organized this mahfil.
Bangladesh National Imam Association Laxmipur District Branch President Hazrat Maulana Gitas Uddin Saheb was present as the main dogir in the mahfil, Khatib of Chittagong Andarkilla Shahi Jame Masjid, Awlade Rasool Allama Sayed Anathar Hossain Taher Hossain Taher Jaberi Al Madani.
Bangladesh National Parliament Honorable Whip Alhaj ABM Ashraf Uddin Nijan MP spoke as the chief guest on the occasion.
Kamalnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mr. Md. Rahat Uz Zaman, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kamalnagar Police Station Mr. Md. Faridul Alam, eminent media personality Hazrat Maulana Khandkar Mahbubul Haque, Ishlahul Umma Bangladesh Chairman Hazrat Maulana Abu Hanif Nesari and Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Hajihat Branch FAVP and Branch Manager Mr. Mohammad Machum Hossain were present as special guests in the ceremony.
The speakers at the ceremony reminisced about the spread of religious education, social development and colorful career of the late Allama Jayd Hussain Al-Farooqi (R.A.) and they said, late Allama Faruqi (R.A.). He kept his own life in the service of Islam and spreading good education, and his contribution will be remembered with respect.
At the end of the discussion, a special prayer and prayer was conducted by the country, nation and Muslim Ummah to pray for the soul of the deceased and a large number of Ulama Keram, political figures and local devotees of the area participated in it.
