Habiganj One person has been killed by lightning in Haor in Bananichang. The name of the deceased is Saurabh Das (20).
He is the son of Dhananjath Das of Chandipur village of No. 5 Sujatpur Union No. 12 of Banachong Upazila.
On Wednesday (May 3) there was a lightning strike at 3 pm.
According to local sources, the deceased Saurabh Das is an agricultural labourer.
In the same way, he along with other workers used to harvest paddy in Haor of Amajatli along with other workers.
Lightning started with light rain at 3 pm.
If the person was seriously injured by lightning strike, he was taken to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital for treatment and the doctor on duty at the hospital declared Saurabh Das dead.
In this regard, Upazila Project implementation officer Malat Kumar Das said, we have been aware of the poison.
The family of the deceased will be given government support.
