The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Friday (March 14) that the United Nations will always be with the current reforms and changes in Bangladesh, he said in an X message on Friday (March 14).
In the X message, he said, ‘I am the chief advisor of the interim government. Thank you Muhammad Yunus and the people of Bangladesh for their warm welcome.’
He further said, ‘The United Nations will always stand by you with the aim of building a sustainable and just future in this important time of recent reforms and transformation of Bangladesh.’
Earlier in the morning, the chief advisor of Tejgaon in the capital. The UN Secretary-General met Muhammad Yunus at his office, and he said in a message in X. The message was also posted on the Facebook page of the United Nations Dhaka office.

Meanwhile, he reached Cox's Bazar from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1 pm on the Bangladesh Biman Airlines, which the Chief Advisor's press wing confirmed.
They were welcomed at Cox's Bazar Airport by the Advisor of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Farooq-e-Azam.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Cox's Bazar District Police Jasim Uddin Chowdhury said that the plane carrying the Chief Advisor and the Secretary General of the United Nations arrived at Cox's Bazar Airport at 1 pm today.
The UN Secretary General will go directly to Ukhia from there, where he will visit the Rohingya Learning Center, the Rohingya Cultural Center and the Production Center of Jute Products.
After the visit and iftar, the Chief Advisor and the United Nations Secretary General will return to Dhaka together in the evening.
